Welcome to our hotel!

The room you are in is more than just a place to sleep – it is adorned with artwork by a renowned artist. Each of our rooms features art from different artists, giving every room its own unique atmosphere. You’ll find the artist’s name displayed outside the door.
Refsnes Gods houses over 400 original artworks, making it a living art gallery. We also offer guided art tours.

The estate was built as a manor and summer residence in 1767 and has been a hub for social gatherings and artistic inspiration ever since. Edvard Munch, Peder Balke, and Hans Gude are among the many who have been captivated by its beauty and charm.

I hope you’ve reserved a table at Restaurant Munch. Here, we serve a carefully curated 4-course menu, with drink pairings that include both non-alcoholic options and wines from our renowned wine cellar – a must-see during your visit.

Jacuzzi

Located in the Atrium Garden. Open 10:00–22:00. Must be pre-booked at least 10 minutes in advance. Minimum age: 12 years (younger children allowed if accompanied by an adult).

Gym

A small fitness room next to the sauna, open 07:00–22:00. Equipment includes a treadmill, rowing machine, bike, and strength training machine.
